Mixes / Music

Nick's vast collection of records began to grow when he secured his initial position at a record store in Swansea. Spanning over a decade, he has passionately amassed records from a diverse number of musical genres. He embodies two distinct DJ personas, the first being his open format sets where he seamlessly navigates through an array of genres such as hip-hop, R&B, funk, soul disco, dancehall, and all things under the umbrella of dance music with edits and performing mash-ups on the fly. Additionally, his second style focuses on specialized underground music, with a dedication to UKG and the 360 of bass music.

Butterfly Rooms Minimix

Here's an example of a more party open-format style sets

For my open format sets, I can play anything from Funk, Soul, Disco, Mo town, House, & Hiphop, Rnb and much more, and I try to keep a more upbeat vibe during my party sets with mashups and edits without being too cheesy.

Tiny Rebel X Botanist Roof Party minimix

This minimix was for a rooftop day party aiming for a more chilled house, & disco vibe with classics and edits worked in also, I play similar to this at one of my brunch residencies every week.

MOVEMENTS - SS21

This set is more of a reflection of what I would play out at an event, a lot of 4x4, something to train to as I find all the headzy skippy 2 step winds me up when I'm running 😅 I'll save all that for a strictly wax mix in the future.

Just have a bop innit. 🌊

44 tracks in 1 hour, expect:

UKG // 2-Step
4x4 // House
Techno // Breaks

UKG DUBPLATE SESSION - 100% VINYL

Recently a dear friend of mine passed away whom was the person that started me on my journey collecting records and gave me my first ever job in a record store in Swansea.

If 2020 wasn't odd enough, 2021 has also been a strange year for us all and knowing that going back to my previous lifestyle is nowhere in sight.
I've kinda found myself going back to my roots and loving vinyl again.

AMAPIANO 2022

I've been loving the Amapiano sound recently and wanted to delve deeper and find out more about it without playing the most obvious pop remixes that are floating about.
Here's a mix of mainly Amapiano sounds with some afrobeat gelled in and kwaito influences, along with some UK Funky artists embracing the South African sound.
